Integrating WhatsApp Business with 1LNKER enables your team to centralize customer communication. By connecting through the official Facebook (Meta) embedded signup, you authorize 1LNKER to act as a solution provider on your behalf. This coexistence approach means your existing WhatsApp Business app remains fully functional while 1LNKER adds advanced automation, analytics, and multi-agent support on top.

Before you begin, ensure you have admin access to the Facebook Business Portfolio that owns your WhatsApp Business Account. You will need to approve the connection request during the embedded signup flow. It is also recommended to have your phone nearby to verify the WhatsApp number via SMS or call.

Active 1LNKER Account: You must be logged in as an administrator or have the Settings permission enabled.
WhatsApp Business Account: A verified WhatsApp Business Account associated with a Meta Business Portfolio.

Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Follow the steps below to connect your WhatsApp Business account to your 1LNKER workspace. The entire process takes approximately 5 minutes.

Access the Settings Page

Log in to your 1LNKER dashboard. In the left sidebar, click on Settings to open the configuration menu. This section contains all workspace-level preferences and integrations.

Navigate to the WhatsApp Config Tab

Within the Settings page, locate and click on the WhatsApp Config tab. This tab is dedicated to managing your WhatsApp Business connection, including status, reconnection options, and advanced settings.

Click "Connect with WhatsApp"

On the WhatsApp Config tab, you will see a prominent button labeled Connect with WhatsApp. Click this button to initiate the connection process. This action triggers the Meta embedded signup flow.

Complete the Facebook Embedded Signup Popup

A popup window will open, redirecting you to Meta's secure authorization page. Here, you will be asked to log in to your Facebook account and select the Business Portfolio that contains your WhatsApp Business Account. Review the permissions requested by 1LNKER and click Continue.

Select Your WhatsApp Business Account

After authorizing the business portfolio, choose the specific WhatsApp Business Account and the phone number you wish to connect. If you have multiple numbers, ensure you select the correct one. Confirm your selection.

Verify the Phone Number

Meta will send a verification code to the WhatsApp Business number via SMS or a phone call. Enter the received code in the popup to verify ownership. This step confirms that you have legitimate access to the number.

Approve the Coexistence Connection

1LNKER uses a coexistence model, meaning your existing WhatsApp Business app will continue to work alongside 1LNKER. Review the coexistence terms and click Approve to finalize the connection. The popup will close automatically.

Confirm Integration in 1LNKER

After the popup closes, you will be redirected back to the WhatsApp Config tab. A success message will appear, and your connected phone number will be displayed as Active. You can now start using WhatsApp features within 1LNKER.

Understanding Coexistence

The coexistence model allows 1LNKER to integrate with your WhatsApp Business Account without disrupting your existing setup. This is particularly useful for teams that already use the WhatsApp Business app on mobile or desktop.

Parallel Operation: Your original WhatsApp Business app remains fully functional. Messages sent or received there will sync with 1LNKER.
No Downtime: The integration does not require you to uninstall or disable your current app. Both platforms operate simultaneously.
